•They are talking about the rumors about gatsby but they have no problem  eating his food and drinking his drinks
• why all that attention because if you think about none of these people are really so why did he gave two whole pages to this ? It tells us that the narrator was playing really close attention to the guest, so what about these people is impressive to us what do these people have in common they are all connected with entertainment they were all somebody they were rich and they were people who died in the war people who killed them selfs so we got people who were not doing good on the inside.
