Young Goodman Brown's view on the world changed when he might have had an experience with the devil but it might have been a dream. His encounter with the devil made him think that he had lost everyone around him. But the moral of this story is that weather  you truly experience something or not just the thought of it could leave you in shock and it could change your point of view
